Jones Forest Support: Assist freshmen w/end-of-the-year project and developing research plan
DI Team Support: Provide assistance/location/snacks for work and training for competition.
Engineering Design Support: Provide expertise/tools/location for student teams to compete
Robotics Support: Provide expertise/tools/location for student team for competition (i.e.BEST).
Tutoring: Assist students/study groups in becoming more proficient in areas of concern.
Internship Coordination: Mentor students in minimum 80-hour internships.
Friends of the Academy
Organize/Host Exploration: Help organize, host or identify an activity for Exploration credit.
Job Shadowing: Help w/opportunities for students to observe in a day, a science/tech job.
Exploration Chaperones: Some Exploration activities need chaperones, e.g. overnight trips.
Host/Identify Internships: Provide or help identify opportunities for student 80-hour internships.
Academic
College night assistants: Plan College Night. Arrange speakers, publicize & coordinate.
Speaker Coordinator: Prepare and maintain a list of potential speakers for Academy events.
Science Fair Judge: Judge at Sci://Tech science fairs in February.
Site Team: Developing the high school's annual improvement plan
Ethical Learning Community: Represent PAST in working with the Academy Student Union.
Engineering Design Judge: Judge at Sci://Tech competitions in February.
DI Volunteer: Judge or other assistance at Academy or regional DI.
Information Night Volunteer: Helper/panel member for new applicants on interview night.
Hospitality
Fish Camp Volunteer: Cook, camp out, assist with documenting next year's Fish Camp.
Hospitality Events: Donate food and beverages and/or serve at events.

Join P.A.S.T. or Make a Contribution
P.A.S.T. Membership is a way for parents of Academy students to become directly involved in
the planning and academics activities of the Academy and the P.A.S.T. organization. Dues are
$35 per family. Our target is to have 100% parent membership. P.A.S.T. publishes a yearly
directory that you will receive with your membership.
